RULES

Please be aware that White Noon is a roleplay group for the age of 18+.
Our group's story involves political and dark topics, such as blood, violence, and death. By joining the group, you have acknowledged that you’ve read and understood this!

Basics

1. Please be respectful of everyone.

  • We have zero tolerance for disrespectful behavior and unsolicited provocation. We will give two warnings upon breaking this rule, and you will have to leave the server on the third warning.

2. If any issue rises between the members, please resolve it privately.

  • Only reach to the admins when we need to step in and handle the matter. If both parties refuse to reach a conclusion that will maintain the peace of the group (you don’t have to get back along, it’s fine! can just avoid each other), both might receive a warning.

3. NSFW contents are not allowed to be displayed in this group.

  • Keep them private!

4. Be mindful and respectful when discussing sensitive topics (racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc), be it about IRL situation or related to the group’s story.

  • Everyone has different point of views and it’s okay. Everybody doesn’t have to agree with the same thing, and you can agree to disagree peacefully. 

  • Due to the sensitivity of the topics, any talk around this matter could escalate badly. If it happens when the admins are online, we will try to address the issue carefully or end the conversation if it becomes too uncomfortable. If the admins are not around, please approach topic gently to avoid unwanted confrontations.

5. AI art, plagiarism, or theft of content are forbidden.

  • We prohibited and disallowed it any amount. If there are proof of you using plagiarism in your group submissions, you will be given a warning. Especially for AI art and art theft, you will be removed from the server instantly.

Roleplay

1. No godmodding and metagaming.

2. We encourage members to roleplay in our public server!

  • It is inessential but we do like to see our server be lively. As long as the rp’s topic is SFW, please don’t hesitate and reach out to us and request a rp room!

3. Please avoid RP blurring.

  • Players must have a clear separation between ‘in character’ (IC) and ‘out of character’ (OOC) behavior and knowledge. If your personal feelings begins to bleed into the rp, it is advised to take a break from rp. Please communicate it nicely with your rp partner!

  • Please remember that your character is not you and anything that happens to your character, is not directed to attack you personally. Though if you feel that it is intended to personally attack you, please approach your rp partner to talk about the matter privately. If it escalates, admins might need to step in to find the best solution.

FAQ

1. What does 'honk' mean in the group chat?

  • The word 'honk' is a friendly term to address an adult content in the server to make it sounds less vulgar. The mascot is a white goose.
     

2. What does 'styrofoam' mean in the group chat?

  • It means 'straight'. A member's phone autocorrect corrected the word 'straight' into 'styrofoam' and ever since that, it has been a running gag in the group to ask if someone's OC is straight or not.

3. Why do people keep mentioning cucumbers (and other fruits) in the group chat?

  • The cucumber context is based on an article that says: "Cucumbers can be planted any time in May after danger of frost is past. Folklore has it that, to protect them from insects, they should be planted on May 1st (the old pagan holiday of Beltane) before sunup--for best results, they should be planted by a naked young man."

  • After this revelation, other fruits and vegetables have been mentioned and risen in popularity for a context that we all know but rather not being written here.
     

4. What does 'gary' mean in the group chat?

  • It means 'gay', as the waters of Rimvel make the inhabitants bending their straightness once a hot guy/gal touches them. A splash of this water will make these garies get married to each other and those who frequently fish and dip will be the gariest.
